Introduction to Flipped Learning

Course Description

Flipped learning is a pedagogical approach in which the traditional notion of classroom-based learning is inverted, so that students are introduced to the learning material before class, with classroom time then being used to deepen understanding through higher order thinking tasks that are more authentic, active and meaningful for the student.

In this course we’re introducing some key topics and concepts of the flipped classroom to build your basic understanding before you can get out and try the approach yourself! This course serves as a precursor to our Level 1 Flipped Learning Certification which will be introduced later this year.
