Gratitude is the ability to focus your time and attention on the things you appreciate. As educators, it is very easy to forget the small things and find ourselves caught up in the day to day storm, missing all of the amazing things about our profession. This course encourages you to embrace elements of gratitude across seven days, with each day providing two tasks for you to complete.
One is a reflection task where you are asked to consider something or someone (each reflective task is different) that supports you on a day to day basis or has allowed you to be in the position you find yourself right now. The second task is a little more in your face and requires you to take some form of real action to demonstrate gratitude.
Benefits of demonstrating gratitude:
Gratitude is not some kind of in the cloud fairy thinking.
